The gaming world is filled with non-player characters, or “NPCs” that fill space and have no interaction with the player or the outcome of the game. Here’s the good news: Christians aren’t NPCs! We can — and should — live our faith journey as active participants. In God’s world, everyone matters and is important, regardless of skill, qualification, or past failure. In fact, it’s only through His strength and power that we’re able to win in the game called “Life”.

Yes, we have to work to live — but if that’s all we fill our time with, we’re wasting the time God gave us here. No matter our profession, God calls us to represent Him in every facet of life and to everyone we meet. Let’s spend the days of our lives in obedience to Him, living each one as though it was our last!

What are you doing today — not tomorrow, not next week, not next year, but TODAY — to live a life that matters and is pleasing to God? We have a choice to make regarding the time we’ve been given on this earth. We can either take the easy way out and have ours be among the countless lives that were lived without making any eternal impact, or we can run the race He’s set before us and give our all to make it count for God’s glory.
